You asked for a “desert” recipe so for that I eat the “sand which is there” (sandwiches there). =)

One of my favorite fall sides is roasted brussel sprouts with a maple-miso-Dijon glaze.

I like to drink my Thanksgiving dessert…so I mix together a “Hot Toddy”. My favorite recipe includes, loose green tea leaves, bourbon, apple cider, and lemon juice. A cinnamon stick, star anise and a lemon slice are the perfect garnishes. Here is a recipe I found from Cookie + Kate.:

It would be perfect in thermal Libre Tea glass. Cheers!

I am trying a really simple desert this year, pumpkin cupcakes. It is so easy, a white cake mix box of your choice, and add a can of pumpkin pie filling. That is the only two ingredients. Mix and bake as per instructions on the cake mix. Top with whipcream. Yummy, easy, and sure to please the kids.
