Hot and Healthy Matcha Tea Moments are great for adding many health benefits to your daily routine. Matcha – Quick and Easy:
Place matcha in your Libre glass (1-2 grams), add your liquid, put on the filter & lid and carefully shake well (especially if using **hot liquid) carefully remove lid… drink and enjoy!
Temperature matters when making matcha. Heat brings out the bitter flavors in matcha. Where cold water will bring out its unique sweetness and the rich creamy feel.
If you are using water, instead of Almond or Coconut Milk, the ideal temperature is 65 – 85 degrees Celsius (150 – 180 degrees Fahrenheit). That is below boiling, so watch your kettle!
STEAM WARNING: **please wait til steam ‘clears’ before putting on the filter and lid when using hot water and extra careful shaking**
DO NOT USE BOILING WATER
Here is a delicious Spiced Matcha Latte recipe for a nutritious hot and healthy Matcha Tea Moments;
- 3 oz of hot water**
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- ¼ tsp turmeric
- ¼ tsp ginger
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 8 oz. of warmed coconut or almond milk
- Place hot water**, matcha powder, turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon into your Libre glass
- Put Libre filter and lid on, ensuring the steam has dissipated
- Carefully shake well
- Remove lid, add the warmed milk and replace the lid
- Carefully shake again to blend in the milk
- Drink and enjoy your spiced Matcha Tea Moment!
