During this busy month of December be inspired to cultivate and share your light – as with so much seasonal darkness it is necessary to know there is a beautiful light inside each of us. It can be as small as a wave, saying hi to a stranger on the street, helping someone or even sharing a tea moment. These little actions ripple and grow with others and remind others and us to share our light to lighten our own path.

thoughts to wordsAll of our daily routines set the tone for our day. If you begin the day cheerfully and contented it is reflected throughout the day by our actions and words.

One great way to start your day on a positive note is to start a daily routine of tea moments, setting aside time in your day to pause, reflect and appreciate what you have and how to nurture your own light to let it shine in the world.

#GivingTuesday was celebrated across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom on Tuesday Dec. 2nd. Libre Tea is donating $1 /per glass to the Sunshine Coast Food Bank!  for the 26 glasses sold that day.

Afternoon is a good time of day for a “tea moment” since we often become so busy working and wrapped up in our thoughts that we lose energy. A tea break is a great way to relax, enjoy and re-invigorate.

I drink a lot of tea daily. I take time in the afternoon to relax and be mindful of everything around me and say some prayers/mantras for others wellbeing

Morning is the best time for me to slowly sip a cup of tea to prepare for a busy day ahead. I drink tea all day long but my morning tea is my favorite.

My best tea moment is at night after our daughter is asleep. I can enjoy a nice hot mug of tea with no interruptions! (Sorry if this is a repeat- my first post isn’t showing up)

I drink hot tea all day long! I think any time of day is the perfect time for a nice, relaxing cup of tea!! I do enjoy sharing tea time with the kids when they get home from school.

I love my first thing in the morning tea moment, on the balcony, with the sunrise (when the suns actually out I’ll even sneak out there in the winter for a few seconds, lol!). Tea is a wonderful way to start the day, and the ritual of greeting the day by observing the sunrise is calming and uplifting.

I have started writing a regular blog for ‘Traverllers Times’ magazine. A magazine for Gypsy, Roma, Travelllers and anyone interested in learning about their culture. I also visit Gypsy, Roma & Travellers to get there views as often the media will not ask them for their opinion. I write the blog for free and run free support groups in Sussex & Kent for Gypsy, Roma & the Traveller communities. If anyone is interested please visit my website ASHTARNIGHTSTAR.WIX.COM/ASHTAR for more information. Many thanks and I wish light & healing to you all.

My husband and I have started a ‘cup of tea before bed’ ritual. (herbal and/or decaf of course) It’s a nice way to wind down and end the day.

My favorite time to have tea is in the evening after yoga class. Just keeps me relaxed. I would love to be able to take my loose tea on the road to enjoy anytime

Between lunch and dinner is my best time, I work from home, and all the pressing chores of the day weigh on me in the morning, by afternoon all the urgent issues have been handled and fires put out and it is easier for me to truly take a real break, make some caffeine free tea, and take a real break to calm my mind and energize me to finish the work day.
