Over the last month or so we’ve been nurturing our souls by learning new skills, working on new projects, taking classes to strengthen our inner and outer being. We’ve learned new things about ourselves; new activities we enjoy, what makes us feel good and, of course what doesn’t : )
Strengths are not activities you’re good at, they’re activities that strengthen you. A strength is an activity that before you’re doing it you look forward to doing it; while you’re doing it, time goes by quickly and you can concentrate; after you’ve done it, it seems to fulfill a need of yours.
Focusing on our strengths helps nurture our souls. Giving us the opportunity to do and become the person we truly are – our true nature tells us our strengths when we listen to our inner voice.
Identify what tasks and activities leave you feeling positive, satisfied and accomplished. The ones where ‘time flies by’. See if you can work more of these types of tasks and activities into your day or week.
Figure out which tasks and activities leave you feeling depleted of energy and down. Try to do these tasks when you are at your energy peaks throughout the day. When doing them, think of a positive reason behind the task (laundry – clean clothes for you and the family, work – provides a style of life you want, car pools – enables you to have days when you don’t have to drive.) Finding positive reasons for doing tasks and activities you don’t like helps give you focus and feel better.
And so you don’t lose these self-discoveries – write them down in a journal or notebook. Take a tea moment to connect with yourself, acknowledge your unique nature and what brings you joy. What do you want more of and what do you want less of in your life.
And tea moments with Libre are intended for us to connect and reflect in our busy days and world so bring your Libre Tea glass with you as a reminder of your unique nature and enjoy tea moments anywhere, anytime.
