Over the last month or so we’ve been nurturing our souls by learning new skills, working on new projects, taking classes to strengthen our inner and outer being. We’ve learned new things about ourselves; new activities we enjoy, what makes us feel good and, of course what doesn’t : )

Strengths are not activities you’re good at, they’re activities that strengthen you. A strength is an activity that before you’re doing it you look forward to doing it; while you’re doing it, time goes by quickly and you can concentrate; after you’ve done it, it seems to fulfill a need of yours.

Focusing on our strengths helps nurture our souls. Giving us the opportunity to do and become the person we truly are – our true nature tells us our strengths when we listen to our inner voice.

Identify what tasks and activities leave you feeling positive, satisfied and accomplished. The ones where ‘time flies by’. See if you can work more of these types of tasks and activities into your day or week.

folding laundry libreFigure out which tasks and activities leave you feeling depleted of energy and down. Try to do these tasks when you are at your energy peaks throughout the day. When doing them, think of a positive reason behind the task (laundry – clean clothes for you and the family, work – provides a style of life you want, car pools – enables you to have days when you don’t have to drive.) Finding positive reasons for doing tasks and activities you don’t like helps give you focus and feel better.

And so you don’t lose these self-discoveries – write them down in a journal or notebook. Take a tea moment to connect with yourself, acknowledge your unique nature and what brings you joy. What do you want more of and what do you want less of in your life.

And tea moments with Libre are intended for us to connect and reflect in our busy days and world so bring your Libre Tea glass with you as a reminder of your unique nature and enjoy tea moments anywhere, anytime.

Share with us new discoveries about yourself and your strengths for a chance to win a Libre Large Tea glass!

According to the quote at the top of this post, a couple of my strengths would be yoga and gardening. Both of which I look forward to, enjoy and and am left feeling satisfied when I’m done.

whenever i conquer a fear of mine (attending a bootcamp class, driving in a big city) it makes me feel so proud of myself, my strength and my independence.

A strength I have is serving others, I look forward to doing it, time passes quickly when I am doing it and you always learn something from it.
I also think creating things is a strenght of mine, I look forward in preperation, I enjoy the time making things and I always learn something new doing it.

Walking by the ocean, sailing, scuba diving, these all being me peace. Gardening does as well. Just feeling connected to nature makes me happy.

One of my strengths I think would be admitting when I’ve tried hard enough and learn to just let go. It’s hard to fail but everyone does it sometime and failure can be considered an option or it can be just a sign marker leading you down a new path.

Actually my newest discoveries about myself are actually strength. I’ve been working out regularly and meet with a trainer once a week to help me push myself to feel and look better and to be more physically fit. I’ve recently been pushing harder and lifting weights that I would have never believed possible. I love these sessions and the time does go by quickly, and then in a day or two when I am still aching from the workout I smile and know that I am getting stronger every day – in my body and my mind!

I started running about 6 months ago and while I am not an enthusiastic runner, I have stuck with it. I still am suprised each time I come back and am able to complete 3 to 4 miles. I run every other day. Sometimes it’s an easy run. Other times, it is difficult. My body just doesn’t get in the groove. But I keep going and don’t stop. I remind myself that if I am strong enough to finish today, I will be stronger on the days when the runs are easier.

My strengths are my children and my career (teaching.) I love them both and I try to get better at each everyday. Time passes by very quickly when I am with both. 🙂

It’s been easy in my life as a new mom to think I have no strengths. Based on this post, however, I think writing, which my dear hubby has been encouraging me to pursue would count as a strength. I don’t always feel as though it is good enough but I find that whenever I do get a few minutes to sit and pen some thoughts a little piece of me has been restored.

When I accept and successfully complete the challenge I feel a sense of accomplishment and know I’m strong enough to share my strengths with others. I like to share what I’ve learned & volunteer to help others. I’ve discovered that people are willing to accept my help if I offer it.

I try to focus on only the positive and on the present moment. Looking to much in the future can hurt us and what’s past will never come back.
