    I regularly make Matcha Ice Cream. Since it’s homemade, it’s tasty and without additives.

    I use this recipe as a base:

    We don’t like our ice cream too sweet so I usually put between 1/4 cup and 1/3 of organic cane sugar instead of 1/2 cup. I also make sure to use organic half and half as to minimize the chemicals in my ice cream.

    Other than that, I regularly mix matcha with hot water in my Libre. Give it a couple of good shakes and it’s ready to drink. Easy!

    I woudld love to share my favorite recipie for Matcha Ice Cream! My kiddos LOVe it!

    1) A gallon of vanilla ice cream.
    2) Matcha or green tea powder.

    Leave the ice cream out for 30 minutes or until they turn slightly soft. Add in a few tablespoons of matcha (depends how matcha-y you wanted your ice cream to be), then stir and blend well with the ice cream. The ice cream should turn light green in color and tastes exotic with a slight tint of bitter flavor derived from the matcha.

    Freeze the ice cream, scoop it up and serve cold.

    I don’t have a recipe as I have never tried Matcha tea. But I love all iced teas, so I’m sure this would be great with the coconut milk. Would love to try it.

    I love this Matcha Green Tea Latte Recipe!


    1 teaspoon matcha powder
    1/4 cup boiling water
    3/4 cup plain almond milk or regular milk
    honey to taste

    Bring enough water to a boil for the amount of servings you are making. Whisk 1 teaspoon matcha powder per serving with 1/4 cup boiling water. Once powder is dissolved into water, mix in the milk. Sweeten to taste with honey or agave.

    Matcha Green Tea Latte
    1 teaspoon matcha powder
    1/4 cup boiling water
    3/4 cup plain almond milk
    dissolve powder into boiling water, mix in the milk.
