Here at Libre we’ve been enjoying more yoga and creating a new LIbre we’d like to preview!

This past weekend we had an opportunity to share our new Libre design in Boston at the International Association of Yoga Therapy Conference. We were there to share our Libre love and hear about all of the amazing academic peer reviewed yoga therapy research results and practitioners’ experiences.  IAYT supports research and education in Yoga and serves as a professional organization for Yoga teachers and Yoga therapists worldwide. Their mission is to establish Yoga as a recognized and respected therapy.

So our new design…. a little more fun and colourful!!

We work with many great partners and one we love is our designer  – arithmetic Margherita Porra is the Creative Director and Founder of ‘arithmetic’, a boutique ideas agency with a fondness for brand storytelling, challenging convention & creating design, branding, packaging & websites.

We’ve been working with Margherita since Libre began and are thrilled with her artistic and creative talents. She has conceived our logo design, custom illustrations, packaging design, trade show materials and almost every aspect of our ‘look’.

Margherita has received numerous design awards, including 8 International Gallery Awards, with her packaging design published countless times in the Dieline, Lovely Package, Choi’s Package, Hightone Packaging, Georgia Straight, Fashion Magazine, and featured on Shaw TV.

Our new design …                                                                 And our new lid….

We’d love your feedback! What do you think about the new design?

We receive many requests for more colourful Libres and this is the design Margherita has again conceived – both the lid design and the starburst graphic. Our current styles will still be available.

Wanted to let you in on our new ideas and we look forward to having stock in September.

Congratulations to Andrea Amy who won a Libre Tea Mug in our Teacher Appreciation Giveaway!

This new tea glass color matches my kitchen! Seriously, it is a very similar green. Well, I love the original mug, it looked very rich and classy. This new design is nice and as long as it works the same…..I don’t think it will matter. Would this new color change the price? Just curious. Absolutely love the Libre Tea Glass! I use mine everyday!

Thank you for your feedback Guylene. Pricing hasn’t been finalized but will be similar. We will still be carrying our original design – just more to choose from 🙂

I love the new design. The colour and starburst design is fabulous! Is it the photo or is the lid a bit deeper? Would love the lid to be a bit deeper in the large size libre glass!

Very colorful. Is the new lid embossed? I can see that as a bit troublesome to get thoroughly clean since dirt (or dried tea!) can accumulate in the nooks and crannies. Although that could be fixed by filling them with clear plastic.

Love it! More designs!! more more! The pretty, metallic band of my original filter came off pretty much right away, leaving a not-so-pretty brown plastic, so hopefully this one is designed differently. I’d love to see one in a pretty teal, or pink! I’ve had my original for a few years, use it multiple times daily and I think its time for a change 🙂

I like the new design! I’ve been a fan of Libre for years and have bought lots of Libres for my family and friends. I don’t really like the gold trim on the current lid so I’m looking forward to this new colourful Libre! Will it just come in this colour or other colours as well?

What a Godsend this new disign is for me! I try to use one tea glass for green teas and tissanes, and the other one just for black teas. When they are clean or realatively clean, I get them mixed up and it can contaminate the flavour. Now I can use this new design with the green accents for my green tea alone and the current one for my aromatic tissanes. That means three Libre glasses on the go everyday. That being said, I think the plastic lid cheapens the look of your new Libre glass. Your lids are such a class act the way they are. However, I would enjoy seeing some lively lime green plastic surrounding the mesh on the inside of the middle lid. A lime green band to accent the middle lid around the centre would be interesting too. Sorry, but I can’t help you with your decision if I am not honest. That’s my truth and I’m sticking with it! Can’t wait to order one and if you decide to go ahead with the plastic lid then perhaps you can find an original lid for me. How long will we have to wait for these to go to production?
